Warranty PC Towers and peripherals come with a 1 year repair/replace warranty and must be returned to us with proof of purchase. All postal charges are the responsibility of the purchaser both ways. Please have your receipt at hand when phoning. We do not supply goods on a trial basis so please be sure that purchases match your needs. New monitors are normally covered by a 3 year in-home exchange warranty operated by the manufacturers, simply phone them and they will arrange a replacement. VAT is included in all our prices. Software We presume that you have a basic knowledge of Windows and using your PC. Most disks have a menu which appears onscreen when you insert the disk. Others do not and require you to click on MY COMPUTER, and then on the CD/DVD icon to view the contents of the disk. Instructions are on most disks in the form of a README file or by using the pull-down HELP menu when running the program. If you intend going on the Internet it is strongly advised that you have a good virus checker and firewall. Also if you are on Windows XP you should do System Restores frequently: if you encounter a software problem you can easily backdate your PC to a time when everything was working fine (your last Restore Point). The alternative is to have Windows reinstalled at a cost of £25.00... It pays to do System Restores regularly. |
